Vision Insurance Brokers, Inc. (Vision) was established in 1972 to act as the in-house insurance broker and agent for the Chemphil Group. Ultimately, it acquired an insurance broker's license enabling it to service non-Chemphil Group accounts.

Vision has continued to perform this important function effectively for the past 27 years. It is licensed by the Insurance Commission to deal in all forms of non-life insurance which include Fire, Motor Vehicle, Marine Cargo and Hull, Accident and Health, Engineering, Casualty, Liability, and all types of Bonds.

Its broad range of insurance brokerage services include seeking the fullest insurance protection for the properties and assets of the Chemphil Group - relatively large accounts by any standard. These include property insurance, (chemical plants, finished goods inventories, etc.), car (company vehicles), and marine insurance, imported raw materials in-transit. Vision offers professional claim services to the Group and its other clients such as other service providers of the Chemphil Group. Vision also handles performance and other bonds relating to the transactions of the Group.

Its role in the Group is that of providing risk management services. These include cyclical risk survey of the plants, identification, evaluation and assessment of potential risk exposures, analysis of loss reduction measures and remedial techniques, and production of Risk Survey Reports reflecting loss control recommendations.

With the high standards of professionalism and technical service acquired through the years, Vision has developed a unique expertise in the practice of insurance services for the chemical industry - specifically in those areas that relate to the Chemphil Group's circumstances.
